Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Director to lead the growth strategy of a confidential, luxury design & build business in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's business development strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new design & build, fit out, and turnkey projects
  • Generate and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial developments
  • Build and maintain long term relationships with developers, architects, consultants, project managers, and private clients
  • Engage with clients during the early concept and pre construction stages to position the company as the preferred design & build partner
  • Identify opportunities within existing client accounts and establish new strategic partnerships
  • Lead client presentations, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions
  • Develop tailored proposals and business strategies to maximise project success
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients throughout the business development process
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, exhibitions, and conferences
  • Work closely with the Commercial, Design, and Estimating teams to prepare competitive proposals and bids
  • Review project opportunities from both commercial and strategic perspectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 10+ years' experience in Business Development within design & build, construction, fit out, architecture, or luxury real estate
  • Proven track record of winning high value projects in the UAE
  • Strong network of developers, architects, consultants, interior designers, and private clients
  • Excellent understanding of design & build procurement, project delivery, and construction processes
  • Experience leading commercial negotiations and managing strategic client relationships
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring business development teams is highly desirable
