- Conduct structured academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and measurable progress across all school teams.
- Integrate quantitative data, qualitative interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify high impact barriers and recommend interventions.
- Ensure strategic coherence through continuous planning, structured feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight.
- Serve as the senior representative of 2 Hour Learning in external forums, including keynote presentations and engagements with Ministries of Education.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or related field
- At least 7 years in academic or EdTech leadership roles, leading a team of staff/employees
- Experience driving learning outcomes for students and upholding student performance standards
- Experience applying AI or emerging technologies to improve education
- Experience managing academic teams of 50+ people
- Experience interacting directly with students, teachers, or school leaders in a professional setting

Overview
- 2 Hour Learning operates on a model in which students achieve learning outcomes twice as quickly, dedicating just two hours daily.
- We now require a leader capable of aligning execution across varied school implementations, elevating academic standards across teams, and serving as the authoritative voice.
What You Will Be Doing
- Designing academic frameworks that operationalize learning science principles into actionable guidance for curriculum design, motivational architecture, and application functionality.
- Conducting structured academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and measurable progress across all school teams.
- Integrating quantitative data, qualitative interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify high impact barriers to learning acceleration and recommend targeted interventions.
- Ensuring strategic coherence through continuous planning, structured feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
- Serving as the senior representative of 2 Hour Learning in external forums—including keynote presentations and engagements with Ministries of Education—to influence global discourse on educational transformation.
Basic Requirements
- Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field
- At least 7 years in academic or EdTech leadership roles, leading a team of staff/employees
- Experience driving learning outcomes for students and upholding student performance standards
- Experience applying AI or emerging technologies to improve education

Compensation
- Full time (40 hours per week), long term position.
- Compensation: $200 USD/hour, equating to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
- Payment period is weekly.
