- Conduct academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure school teams remain aligned, accountable, and results focused.
- Integrate data, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that pinpoint the most impactful obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend targeted interventions.
- Ensure strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback, and milestone oversight to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
- Serve as the external face of 2 Hour Learning in high profile forums, from keynote presentations to engagements with Ministries of Education, advancing systemic transformation in global education paradigms.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- At least 7 years in academic or EdTech leadership roles, leading a team of staff/employees (not an informal peer leader role); responsible for hiring, monitoring performance, coaching, and making termination decisions.
- Experience driving learning outcomes for students and upholding student performance standards.
- Experience applying AI or emerging technologies to improve education, such as through personalized learning, adaptive learning, AI agents, etc.
- Experience managing academic teams of 50+ people (e.g., the teams you managed directly executed curriculum, instruction, or assessment).
- Experience interacting directly with students, teachers, or school leaders in a professional setting.

What You Will Be Doing

Working with us
- This is a full time (40 hours per week), long term position.
- The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
- The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
