Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, media or equivalent industry experience; Master's degree is a plus
- High level of proficiency in English; working knowledge of Arabic is desirable
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in Senior Management level with track record of success in marketing high value products or services to major clients in an international B2B environment
- Ability to translate marketing strategies into annual plans and integrated promotional activities
- Excellent communication, analytical, presentation and reporting skills

Job Description
- Translate Cluster’s vision and business objectives into strategic marketing and communication plans adapting and delivering best in class approaches and activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Define and oversee marketing long term and annual strategies for the Cluster and each of its businesses.
- Act as a key advisor in the cluster with regards to marketing and communications plans, campaigns, initiatives and programs.
- Lead all stakeholder engagement and foster successful relationships with key enablers.
- Direct and lead strategic, results driven and high quality marketing and communications services.
- Develop a customer centric culture in which team members are encouraged and empowered.
- Control budget allocations and spends for annual cluster marketing and communications activities.
- Direct market research to study industry best practices and implement new ideas.
- Explore opportunities and advise new markets to promote the cluster’s products and services.
- Evaluate and approve cluster’s marketing content and the appropriate channels.
- Deliver reports with regards to cluster’s marketing performance, current activities, bottlenecks and recommendation plans.
People Management Responsibilities
- Provide strong and visionary leadership, supervision, and guidance to the team.
- Ensure that the team has access to necessary resources including budget and technology.
- Promote diversity and inclusion within the team.
- Coach and mentor direct reports ensuring effective management of their teams.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Oversee/guide the development of the brand strategy for Cluster and its businesses.
- Oversee/guide the activities of the marketing and communications department.
- Oversee/guide the processes, workflows and the structure of the department.
- Ensure that the marketing and communications department is aligned with procurement, operations and HR.
- Oversee the plan for the provision of marketing assistance to Business Development.
Educational and Technical Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, media or equivalent industry experience. Master's degree is a plus.
Language Skills
- High level of proficiency in English; working knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
Years of Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role.
Nature of Experience
- Experience in a Senior Management level or equivalent that includes a track record of success in marketing high value products or services to major clients, including multinational corporations in an international business to business environment.
- Ability to translate marketing strategies into annual plans and integrated promotional activities.
- Excellent communication, analytical, presentation and reporting skills.
- Wide understanding of marketing disciplines.
- Ability to make effective decisions and lead people in demanding situations.
- Ability to multitask and manage extensive portfolios that span across multiple businesses simultaneously.
