Role summary
The Director - HRBP leads the Human Resources Business Partnering division for GMG's Everyday Goods division.
The scope spans multi-format retail, food manufacturing, and B2B distribution.
The role supervises assigned HRBP functions and develops strategic HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead HR Business Partnering for assigned functions, including restructuring, budgeting, employee relations, and policy guidance.
- Evaluate team performance and ensure personnel have the skills, tools, and capabilities needed for their roles.
- Collaborate with senior HR leadership on strategic departmental objectives.
- Own workforce planning and manpower budgeting across the division.
- Plan headcount, store and factory opening ratios, and seasonal retail staffing.
- Partner with business leaders on capability building and organizational readiness.
- Set HR and culture priorities aligned with business goals.
- Ensure job descriptions meet Rewards team guidelines and compliance standards.
Competencies
- Apply strong business acumen, organizational development knowledge, and HR expertise.
- Use advanced consulting skills to advise on HR functions and strategic initiatives.
