- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies and port authorities
- Lead and manage major business development projects from inception to completion

- Ensure all business activities comply with regional regulations and company standards
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field; Master's preferred
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Business Planning, Business Development and Project Management in Port, Maritime, and Logistics sector
- At least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
- Professional certifications in PMP and Lean Six Sigma are highly desirable

Job Purpose
- The Director of Business Planning & Development for the CIS region will spearhead strategic initiatives, planning, and business development opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand ADPG's presence.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive business plans and strategies to achieve growth objectives in targeted regions.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities including partnerships, joint ventures, and expansion projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, industry associations, port authorities, and potential clients.
- Lead and manage major business development projects from inception to completion.
- Develop financial models and projections to support business planning and decision making.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for business development initiatives.
- Provide cross functional support in clarifying and validating assumptions on business/financial model.
- Own, lead, or support submission of investment proposals to the Investment Committee.
- Ensure all business activities comply with regional regulations and AD Ports company standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Port, Maritime, and Logistics operations, including industry regulations and best practices.
- Experience with financial modelling, analytics, and data visualization methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
- Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Arabic is imperative for effective communication with local stakeholders.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Business Planning, Business Development and Project Management, with a focus on complex projects within the Port, Maritime, and Logistics sector.
