About the Role
Dietitian Intern role in an outpatient, wellness-focused nutrition setting.
The intern will help clients achieve health goals through evidence-based nutrition counseling, personalized meal planning, and community education.
The role works under the supervision of a licensed Clinical Dietitian.
Employment
- Internship for six months.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including dietary intake analysis, anthropometric measurements, and lifestyle evaluations.
- Assist with individualized nutrition plans covering weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular health, food intolerances, gut health, and sports nutrition.
- Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and coaching using behavior change techniques such as motivational interviewing.
- Assist with group nutrition workshops, cooking demonstrations, and corporate wellness seminars.
- Track client progress, document sessions, and adjust nutrition plans based on feedback and health outcomes.
- Create educational materials, meal plans, and social media content for center programs.
