About the Role
A confidential company in Dubai is hiring a DHA-licensed Pharmacist to review prescriptions, dispense medications, provide customer advice, achieve sales targets, and manage pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities
- Review customer prescriptions to assure accuracy and evaluate suitability
- Provide customers with information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage
- Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Achieve sales targets by using sales techniques, up selling and cross selling
- Order and purchase pharmaceutical supplies, maintaining stock storing and handling
- Comply with local rules and regulations regarding pharmacy activities
- Maintain and report pharmacy records as required by external authorities
- Liaise with insurance companies to process insurance and resolve billing issues
- Handle daily operational tasks such as inventory management, expiry management, merchandising
- Be flexible to work in different shifts and locations as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a relevant field
- Valid pharmacist license from DHA (Dubai Health Authority)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered pharmacist in the UAE
- Strong communication skills in English

Key Responsibilities
- Reviews customer’s prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed drugs, and to evaluate their suitability.
- Provides the customer with information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
- Compounds and dispenses medications as prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
- Ensures understanding the customer’s needs by conducting necessary questioning and providing assistance when necessary.
- Achieves sales targets by using sales techniques, up selling and cross selling of all Super Care categories.
- Orders and purchases pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugs, maintaining stock storing and handling.
- Complies with local rules and regulations in regard to pharmacy activities, including but not limited to preparation, labeling and delivery of medication and other pharmaceutical supplies.
- Maintains and reports the pharmacy’s records as required by the external authorities (i.e. Dubai Health Authority, Ministry of Health, etc.).
- Liaises with insurance companies to process insurance on time and resolve billing issues.
- Handles daily operational tasks such as inventory management, expiry management, merchandising, etc.
- Is Flexible to work in different shifts & location as assigned by the Line Manager in order to fulfill business requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or a relevant field.
- Valid pharmacist license from DHA.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered pharmacist in the UAE.
- Strong Communication skills in English.
