Position Overview
We are seeking a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to maintain, optimize, and support the underlying platforms that drive our software development ecosystem.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between software development and core IT operations.
You will take ownership of developer tooling (including self-hosted GitLab, private package repositories, and CI/CD pipelines) while working closely with our IT team on underlying servers, storage, networking, and datacenter infrastructure.
Developer Platform & Pipeline Administration
- GitLab Administration: Manage system health, upgrades, backups, disaster recovery, users/permissions, and dedicated CI/CD runners for self-hosted GitLab.
- CI/CD Optimization: Maintain and continuously improve automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Package Management: Oversee the internal PyPI repository, including package publishing, versioning, access control, and storage management.
Application & Infrastructure Operations
- Django Application Deployment: Deploy and maintain internal web applications using Gunicorn/uWSGI, Nginx, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and managed database migrations.
- Migrations: Lead the migration of the Manufacturing IP Server from aging legacy hardware to modern containerized infrastructure using Docker.
- MES Support: Maintain and troubleshoot Manufacturing Execution System (MES) infrastructure and related application dependencies.
