About the Position
McMaster University is hiring a Developer III for a limited-term contract position in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
The successful candidate will lead the design and development of an AI-enabled research platform from concept through production deployment.
The role combines technical leadership, hands-on software development, and architectural decision-making for a scalable, secure, production-quality platform.
Employment and Compensation
- The position is temporary and limited term for more than 12 months, with a contract duration of 12.3 months.
- The salary range is $38.46 to $54.06 per hour.
Schedule
- The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for 35 hours per week.
- Occasional evenings and weekends may be required to meet position demands.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop application specifications, system flows, technical designs, application code, interfaces, and database solutions.
