The RA will support the Online Harms and Ethnic Quota research projects by designing and implementing interactive data visualizations for dissemination through the project WordPress website.
include cleaning and organizing research datasets, developing interactive maps, timelines, and country information cards using Flourish (or equivalent software), embedding visualizations into the project(s) website, collaborating with the research team on visualization design, and assisting with best practices for data storage, citation, and sharing of interactive research outputs.
Online Harms Outputs: 1) Interactive country map displaying legislation with hover pop-ups; 2) Country information pages/cards summarizing legislation, issues and challenges, responsible agencies, and academic literature; 3) Interactive legislative timeline.
