Role Overview
A multinational façade and aluminium solutions company is hiring a Façade Design Manager in Abu Dhabi.
The role leads façade design teams and delivers curtain wall, glazing, cladding, and aluminium projects.
The position is listed with a budget of AED 12,000-15,000 plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the façade design team to deliver high-quality design outputs.
- Review architectural drawings, tender documents, and project specifications.
- Oversee detailed design, shop, and fabrication drawings.
- Ensure façade systems meet structural, thermal, and performance requirements.
- Perform and review wind-load, structural, and thermal-performance calculations.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project managers.
- Ensure compliance with ASTM, BS, EN, and project-specific standards.
- Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to design engineers and draftsmen.
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and installation efficiency.
