- Lead and supervise delivery of high quality, evidence based care in dermatology
- Conduct patient examinations, take medical histories, order tests, prescribe treatments
- Lead ward rounds and manage inpatient and outpatient cases
- Oversee clinical activities of junior medical staff and participate in training
- Participate in on call coverage on a rotational basis
- Document clinical information accurately and comply with policies
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Communicate with patients and families compassionately
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical school
- Completion of structured specialty training program (e.g., Board Certification, Fellowship of a Royal College)
- Minimum 3 7 years of post specialty clinical experience
- Valid DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi
- Fluency in English and Arabic

Job Summary
- The Consultant Physician holds a senior position responsible for providing exemplary, comprehensive, and evidence based medical care within their designated specialty.
- Requires leadership in clinical governance, supervision and training of junior staff, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Excellence: Lead and supervise delivery of high quality, evidence based care.
- Patient Care: Conduct examinations, take histories, order tests, prescribe treatments, lead ward rounds.
- Supervision and Training: Oversee junior medical staff and participate in instruction.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Liaise with other specialties and participate in multi disciplinary meetings.
- On Call Coverage: Participate in out of hours coverage on a rotational basis.
- Documentation and Compliance: Accurately document clinical information and comply with policies.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in clinical audits and risk management.
- Communication: Communicate with patients and families compassionately.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: MBBS or equivalent, completion of structured specialty training program.
- Experience: Minimum 3 7 years post specialty clinical experience.
- Licensing: Valid DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi.
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, commitment to CME.
- Language: Fluency in English and Arabic required.
