Team and People Management
- Supervise and manage more than 100 delivery riders and more than 30 hub staff, including packers and support crew.
- Build a motivated, high-performing team through structured training, coaching, and performance management.
- Drive engagement, resolve conflicts, and foster a harmonious work culture.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, interviews, induction, and on-the-job training for new team members.
Operational Excellence
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to ensure smooth hub functioning.
- Plan and optimize resources for cost-effective and timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain service levels through issue resolution, contingency planning, and on-ground supervision.
- Monitor dispatch accuracy, on-time delivery, and rider performance.
Process, Compliance, and Safety
- Uphold safety and compliance standards at hubs and during delivery operations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, delivery protocols, and local regulatory requirements.
- Create and deploy CAPA for customer escalations and complaints.
Performance and Communication
- Analyze delivery time, order accuracy, rider productivity, and other operational metrics.
- Prepare and present performance reports with actionable insights for leadership review.
- Use data to identify bottlenecks and continuously improve hub operations.
- Communicate across riders, hub staff, and senior management in Marathi, Hindi, and English, while adapting to new technologies and processes.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in last-mile logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, or similar operations roles.
- Proven experience leading large ground teams in a high-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of hub management, delivery logistics, and process optimization.
- Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work on-ground and in shifts as required.
