About the Role

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inventory audits at plant warehouses and depots
- Perform scheduled and surprise stock counts and reconciliations
- Verify physical inventory against ERP/system records and investigate variances
- Review inventory movement transactions, receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments
- Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory controls and identify weaknesses or control gaps
- Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations
- Follow up on corrective actions arising from audit findings
- Validate inventory aging, slow moving, damaged, and obsolete stock
- Support month end and year end inventory verification activities
- Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to resolve inventory issues
- Assist management in improving inventory accuracy and safeguarding company assets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Auditing, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3 5 years of experience in inventory auditing, warehouse auditing, or inventory control
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Willingness to travel frequently to depots and operational locations

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Auditing, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Qualified Accountant (CPA, CMA, CIMA) is desirable but not required.
- 3–5 years of experience in inventory auditing, warehouse auditing, or inventory control.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, distribution, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Good understanding of internal controls, inventory accounting, and audit procedures.
