The Dental Technician designs and fabricates dental restorations using digital CAD/CAM workflows.
The role includes collaboration with dentists and dental technicians to support accurate patient data and seamless workflow integration.
Responsibilities
- Design dental prosthetics, crowns, bridges, and implants using advanced CAD software.
- Operate CAM machinery to fabricate dental restorations to precise specifications.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CAD/CAM equipment and software for optimal performance.
- Review patient scans and models to prepare digital restorations meeting prescribed requirements.
- Stay updated on dental CAD/CAM advancements and implement best practices.
Requirements
- Experience designing dental prosthetics, crowns, bridges, and implants.
- Ability to operate CAM machinery and produce restorations to precise specifications.
- Ability to review patient scans and models and prepare digital restorations to prescribed requirements.
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot CAD/CAM equipment and software.
- Ability to collaborate with dentists and dental technicians to ensure accurate patient data and workflow integration.
