Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Umm Al Quwain for a Demi Chef De Partie.

The position involves assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in the designated section of the kitchen.

The Demi Chef De Partie will help maintain food quality and service standards, adhere to health and safety regulations, and contribute to menu planning and recipe development.

Responsibilities also include managing and training junior kitchen staff, overseeing stock levels, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with the resort's standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen sanitation
  • Ability to manage inventory, monitor stock, and minimize waste
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and training abilities
  • Attention to detail and presentation in food preparation
  • Passion for culinary excellence and willingness to learn and adapt
  • Previous experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or in a similar role in a hospitality setting
  • Experience in Buffet preparations
  • Indian cuisine experience will be preferred
  • Formal culinary training or certification is preferred
