Role Overview
AWS Professional Services is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager to lead Delivery Consultants while supporting enterprise public sector customers through transformative projects.
The role combines IT and management consulting, strategic customer advisory, team leadership, opportunity capture, engagement delivery, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a high-performing team of Delivery Consultants or Engagement Managers.
- Collaborate with delivery, sales, account, and cloud architecture teams to deploy solutions and provide input on new features.
- Develop and oversee innovative IT strategies for customers.
- Manage practice P&L and deliver customer engagements on time and within budget.
- Drive business development initiatives and exceed customer satisfaction targets.
- Scope technical requirements, create proposals and statements of work, and support opportunity capture.
- Provide portfolio guidance, delivery oversight, and customer outcome management.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT consulting or management consulting experience in customer-facing IT transformation roles.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience leading a team of consultants.
