Role Overview
The employer is seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Helper to assist the delivery team.
The role supports loading, unloading, transporting, and delivering products to customers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading deliveries and move products safely to customer locations.
- Handle products carefully and organize and secure items in the delivery vehicle.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Follow delivery schedules and driver or supervisor instructions.
- Check delivery items and quantities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and work areas.
- Follow company safety procedures and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Previous delivery, warehouse, moving, or physical labor experience is a plus but not required.
- Candidates should be reliable, punctual, hardworking, professional, and respectful.
- Good communication and teamwork skills are required.
- Candidates must be able to follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Candidates must be able to work outdoors and in different weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods.
- Ability to safely handle packages and other delivery items.
