Job Description
- Niceone is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a reliable and safety focused individual to join our team as a Driver. As a valued team member, you will be responsible for the timely and secure transportation of goods and materials while delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities For Delivery Driver
- Safe Transportation: Operate company vehicles to deliver products and materials to various locations, following all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Timely Deliveries: Ensure all deliveries and pickups are made on schedule, providing prompt service to both internal teams and external customers.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and operational at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, manifests, and any necessary paperwork, maintaining clear and organized records.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally and courteously with customers and team members, addressing inquiries or issues efficiently.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company guidelines for transportation, loading/unloading, and handling of materials.
Driver Skills And Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a driver in logistics, delivery, or a related field is preferred.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; additional certifications (such as a commercial driver’s license) are a plus.
- Safety Awareness: Demonstrated knowledge of road safety practices and defensive driving techniques.
- Reliability: Strong sense of responsibility and reliability, with the ability to manage schedules efficiently.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move goods and spend extended periods driving or on your feet.
- Communication: Effective communication skills to interact professionally with team members and clients.
