Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily delivery schedules and assign deliveries to drivers or transport teams
- Monitor delivery progress and ensure all deliveries are completed on time
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, and updates
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure orders are prepared for dispatch
- Prepare and maintain delivery schedules, dispatch records, and transport documentation
- Track vehicles and drivers to optimize routes and improve delivery efficiency
- Resolve delivery related issues, customer complaints, and operational challenges promptly
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation procedures
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, proof of delivery (POD), and driver reports
- Coordinate vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and driver assignments
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly delivery performance reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Good problem solving and decision making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience using ERP, fleet management, or logistics software is an advantage
