Role overview

Delivery and collection duties

• Complete daily deliveries to wholesale customers and retail outlets.
• Complete last-mile customer deliveries and collect orders from shops.
• Collect returns to the warehouse and complete shop-to-shop transfers.
• Check orders before delivery and collect required return documents.
• Collect cash and credit-card payments from e-commerce cash-on-delivery customers according to procedure.
• Complete all processes in Fareye.

Vehicle and safety duties

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks when necessary.
• Report maintenance issues, accidents, misplaced packages, lost packages, and other incidents promptly.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean inside and out and use them only for company business.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, traffic rules, and road-safety requirements.

Process and compliance duties

• Receive operating instructions from the Logistics Distribution Department.
• Follow, develop, and improve standard processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Report breaches of procedures, company policy, or security to supervision or management.
• Support the quality management system in line with ISO 9001 standards.
• Meet workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements under OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
• Take responsibility for building and stock security and support improvements to warehouse operations.

What you will need

• Valid driving licence.
• Previous delivery or similar-role experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Basic communication and customer-service skills.
• Basic English is preferred.
