Responsibilities
- Monitor and control plant operations using the Distributed Control System (DCS)
- Start up, operate, and shut down plant equipment according to approved operating procedures
- Continuously monitor process parameters and ensure operations remain within specified limits
- Identify process abnormalities, alarms, and equipment malfunctions, and take appropriate corrective actions
- Coordinate with field operators to ensure smooth and safe plant operations
- Maintain production efficiency while ensuring product quality meets company specifications
- Record operating data, process readings, shift logs, and production reports accurately
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and support maintenance activities during planned shutdowns and breakdowns
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), permit to work systems, and company policies
- Strictly follow Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and promote a strong safety culture
- Perform routine safety checks and report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately
- Maintain effective communication during shift handovers to ensure operational continuity
Requirements
- B.E. or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering preferred
- Previous experience as a DCS Operator in a chemical or process manufacturing industry preferred
- Good knowledge of DCS/SCADA systems and process control operations
- Understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and process parameters
- Ability to analyze plant data and respond effectively to process deviations
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills

Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented DCS Operator to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling plant operations through the Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous production while maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- B.E. or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- Candidates who can join immediately will be given priority.
- Previous experience as a DCS Operator in a chemical or process manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Good knowledge of DCS/SCADA systems and process control operations.
- Understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and process parameters.
- Ability to analyze plant data and respond effectively to process deviations.
