Responsibilities
- Support 24x7 operations including commissioning, fault rectification, and deep cleaning of IT equipment
- Monitor electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems to ensure uptime and availability
- Manage UPS, generators, PDU, ATS, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, and cooling systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Support incident response, escalation management, and Major Incident Management (MIM)
- Coordinate with OEMs, facility vendors, and service providers
- Support compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 20000, and organizational policies
- Monitor power, cooling, rack space, and network utilization for capacity planning
Requirements
- Experience in data center facility operations
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, PDU, ATS, CRAC/CRAH, chillers)
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance
- Ability to support incident response and escalation management
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 20000, and organizational policies
- Knowledge of safety procedures and permit to work processes

Operations Management
- Supporting operations covering 24x7
- Commissioning of equipment.
- Rectification of faults and deficiencies at passive level
- Quarterly deep cleaning of IT equipment
- Ensure uptime and availability of critical infrastructure.
- Monitor electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems.
- Power Cable management and rack optimization
- Testing and validation of systems and connectivity
- Power cable tracing
- Labelling of all devices, cables, and infrastructure
- Inventory control, asset tagging, and tracking
- Cabling and rack dressing as per industrial best practices
Critical Facilities Management
- Manage UPS, generators, PDU, ATS, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, and cooling systems.
- Maintain MDFs, IDFs, and FECs
- Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Perform infrastructure health checks and capacity reviews.
- Support commissioning and testing activities for new installations.
- Inventory control and asset tagging, labelling
Incident & Problem Management
- Support incident response and escalation management.
- Participate in Major Incident Management (MIM).
Change Management
- Support on infrastructure change management
- Perform routine health checks
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with OEMs, facility vendors, and service providers.
Compliance & Governance
- Support compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 20000, and organizational policies.
- Support internal and external audit
- Support updating the operational documentation.
- Follow safety procedures and permit to work processes.
- Ensure physical security controls are followed.
Capacity & Availability Management
- Monitor power, cooling, rack space, and network utilization.
- Support infrastructure expansion planning.
