Job Description

Database Engineering and Development (Database Structure & Storage).

Provide database engineering and development support working with large databases (e.g., Oracle and Redis or NDP designated database products of similar functionality for future upgrades). Must support a high-level of availability, accessibility, and be cloud-based where possible, and must perform the following Tasks:

Provide database design, upgrades, and patching;

Incorporate and/or migrate data from various and diverse sources for developing and populating database content;

Process, store, and make available for search real-time aircraft positional data, including radar, flight plans, and ADS-B;

Develop data queries, import/export of data to/from various file formats, and create data and other ad-hoc reports;

Perform data analysis and make recommendations on findings for system improvements and decision making; and

Develop and maintain data backup and recovery plans and procedures.

Desired skills

  • Perform System and Software Engineering and Development using Node.js, including typescript for server-side development?within Linux.
  • Education: BS/BA in engineering, math, or science degrees are required.
  • Clearance Required: Candidate must be a US Citizen, and have at least a SECRET clearance.
