About the Role
Paramount Computer Systems is seeking a Data Security Architect / SME with deep expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data classification, and enterprise security architecture.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise data security platforms including DLP, data classification, and IRM solutions
- Create High Level Designs (HLDs), Low Level Designs (LLDs), technical specifications, and integration architectures
- Perform threat modeling and security assessments for enterprise environments
- Handle L1, L2, and L3 operations including incident triage, advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, policy tuning, and custom rule creation
- Secure Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, AWS and integrate data security controls across cloud and on premises platforms
- Manage and administer security infrastructure including DLP servers, classification platforms, IRM solutions, virtualization, backup, DR, patch management
- Manage encryption and key management technologies including PKI, HSMs, certificate management
- Integrate with enterprise security ecosystems such as Microsoft Sentinel, EDR/XDR, Email Security Gateways, Web Security, MDM, IAM, SOAR
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, data privacy regulations, and conduct risk assessments and audits
- Lead migration and transformation programs, manage vendor relationships, mentor security teams, and drive automation via PowerShell/Python scripting
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands on experience in Data Security
- Deep expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Classification, Information Rights Management (IRM/DRM), Data Protection, and Enterprise Security Architecture
- Strong experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise data security platforms including Forcepoint DLP, Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian, Boldon James Data Classification, Seclore IRM/DRM, Microsoft Purview
- Architect level experience in solution design and security architecture including HLDs, LLDs, threat modeling
- Proven expertise across L1, L2, and L3 operations including incident triage, root cause analysis, policy tuning
- Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid security environments (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS)
- Experience managing security infrastructure including Windows/Linux servers, DLP servers, virtualization, backup, DR
- Deep understanding of encryption and key management technologies including PKI, HSMs
- Strong integration experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, Email Security, Web Security, MDM, IAM, SOAR
- Extensive knowledge of security governance and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls)

Requirements
- 8+ years of hands on experience in Data Security, with deep expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Classification, Information Rights Management (IRM/DRM), Data Protection, and Enterprise Security Architecture.
- Strong experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise data security platforms, including tools such as Forcepoint DLP, Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian, Boldon James Data Classification, Seclore IRM/DRM, Microsoft Purview, and related technologies.
- Architect level experience in solution design and security architecture, including creation of High Level Designs (HLDs), Low Level Designs (LLDs), technical specifications, integration architectures, threat modeling, and security assessments for enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise across L1, L2, and L3 operations, including incident triage, advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, policy tuning, custom rule creation, incident response, and remediation of complex data security incidents.
- Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid security environments, with hands on experience securing Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, AWS, and integrating data security controls across cloud and on premises platforms.
- Experience managing and administering security infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers, DLP servers, classification platforms, IRM solutions, virtualization technologies, backup, disaster recovery, patch management, capacity planning, and platform hardening.
- Deep understanding of encryption and key management technologies, including PKI, Microsoft PKI, HSMs (Thales or equivalent), certificate management, secure key lifecycle management, and data protection frameworks.
- Strong integration experience with enterprise security ecosystems, including Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), EDR/XDR platforms, Email Security Gateways, Web Security/Proxy solutions, MDM, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and SOAR platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of security governance and compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, data privacy regulations, risk assessments, security audits, compliance reviews, and policy development/enforcement.
- Leadership and stakeholder management experience, including leading migration and transformation programs (on prem to cloud), managing vendor relationships, mentoring security teams, driving automation through PowerShell/Python scripting, and collaborating with SOC, Infrastructure, Legal, Compliance
