Role Overview
The Data Management Officer is part of the Client Account Modification department.
The role maintains client portfolio, agent, and counterparty data and handles ad hoc client output requests.
The reporting line is functionally to the Team Lead of Data Management in COO Asia, with location in Mumbai.
Client and Business Management
- Build relationships with Front Office and key stakeholders regarding services, support needs, and operational challenges.
- Manage Front Office queries and provide troubleshooting support.
- Deliver service within established SLAs while following bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Process account openings, closures, and static data maintenance across the bank’s systems.
- Process and send new-account welcome packs with relevant enclosures.
- Conduct name searches for Compliance and Legal requests.
- Process e-banking applications, modifications, cancellations, address changes, and condition changes.
- Handle returned mail and ad hoc client statements and advice printing requests.
- Verify signatures on client forms.
- Support user acceptance testing and procedure documentation.
- Understand system and business requirements for maintaining client, counterparty, and agent records.
- Support process improvement initiatives and other assigned requests.
