Responsibilities
- Prepare and sort source data for regulatory standards, JAWDA KPIs, hospital KPIs, and regulatory audits.
- Review data for deficiencies, resolve discrepancies, and return incomplete documents for resolution.
- Maintain data collection procedures and verify, correct, delete, or reenter data.
- Combine data from systems when account information is incomplete and purge duplicate files.
- Complete database backups to secure information.
- Maintain operations according to policies and procedures and report needed changes.
- Perform related duties assigned by the department head.
Occupational Safety and Health
- Comply with OSH and infection control policies, standards, procedures, and documented instructions.
- Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Notify OSH hazards, incidents, and near misses and assist with risk assessments and incident reports.
- Attend applicable OSH and infection control training, mock drills, and awareness programs.
- Participate in OSHMS audits and inspections and maintain required standards.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems when applicable.
- Do not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone's health and safety.
Waste Management
- Comply with waste management procedures and policies.
- Reduce, reuse, and recycle waste as much as possible.
Requirements
- Familiarity with OSH and infection control policies, standards, procedures, and emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Ability to follow documented data management, safety, infection control, and waste management procedures.
- Ability to support risk assessments, incident reporting, audits, inspections, and mock drills as applicable.
