Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of data pipelines within Snowflake
- Provide support for ETL/ELT processes involving retail datasets (POS, e commerce, inventory, CRM)
- Work alongside senior data engineers and analysts to maintain data quality and reliability
- Gain practical experience in applying Cortex AI capabilities to retail use cases such as recommendations and forecasting
- Document data processes, pipelines, and model designs
- Monitor pipeline performance and assist with troubleshooting when issues arise
- Respond to ad hoc data requests originating from business stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years of Data Engineering experience, ideally within retail or e commerce environments
- Solid, practical experience with the Snowflake Data Cloud
- Strong command of SQL and Python
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, or similar)
- Experience working with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Snowflake or cloud related certifications are a plus

Overview
- Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading investment group in the UAE. Our client is looking to hire a Data Engineering Consultant with strong Snowflake expertise to support retail data transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of data pipelines within Snowflake.
- Provide support for ETL/ELT processes involving retail datasets (POS, e commerce, inventory, CRM).
- Work alongside senior data engineers and analysts to maintain data quality and reliability.
