The company is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support secure data and AI solutions.
The role covers data ingestion, cleansing, validation, transformation, curation and presentation across the data development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data lakes and data marts.
- Implement web scraping solutions and optimize data workload performance and cost.
- Apply data modelling standards for reporting, analytics and AI/ML use cases.
- Support cloud data architecture, ML/AI productionization, feature stores and self-service analytics.
- Apply data governance, quality, metadata management, security, auditing and monitoring practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to reviews, documentation, testing, CI/CD, version control and observability.
Requirements
- Hands-on data engineering experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, GCP and/or AWS platforms.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL and other relevant languages.
- Proven ETL/ELT pipeline development experience using tools such as dbt, Informatica, Talend or AWS Glue.
- Experience delivering CI/CD and DevOps capabilities in a data environment.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication, collaboration and proactive problem-solving skills.
Preferred skills
- SAP HANA or SAP HANA Cloud data modelling, XS Engine, Calculation Views, SDI or SDA is a strong plus.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, MicroStrategy or SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Exposure to LLMs, generative AI, intelligent agents and agentic AI orchestration frameworks.
