PA Consulting is recruiting a Data Engineer for its Digital and Data community.
The role combines data engineering, agile delivery, and client problem-solving across varied projects and technology stacks.
Working arrangement
- Hybrid working requires attendance in the office or on client site at least two days per week.
- Depending on the role or assignment, work may take place on a client site for up to five days per week.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes on AWS.
- Process and integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Work cross-functionally with clients and stakeholders using agile engineering practices.
- Design and build AWS cloud data solutions for client and internal projects.
Technology stack
- Expected technologies include AWS data and analytics services such as EMR, Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
- Required programming and data technologies include Java, Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL.
Essential requirements
- Experience designing and deploying production data pipelines within a big data architecture.
- Experience writing scripts, extracting data through APIs, and writing SQL queries.
- Experience processing large structured and unstructured datasets on AWS.
- Ability to solve problems analytically and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
