Join Levi Strauss & Co.'s Data and AI Platform Engineering organization as a Data Engineer II.
Lead an individual track in the Supply Chain and Planning Data Domain, delivering solutions for the global business.
Work across requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable batch and real-time data pipelines for enterprise data products and analytics solutions.
- Develop data models, transformations, data products, and dashboards for business and operational needs.
- Build event-driven and streaming solutions using Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, Spark Streaming, or similar platforms.
- Establish data quality, governance, observability, and monitoring frameworks.
- Troubleshoot data issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve platform stability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship through design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, software engineers, architects, and SREs across regions.
- Support Agile delivery, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and DevOps principles.
