About the Role
RBC is hiring a Data Analyst for the Securities Master File team. You will ensure accurate and timely collection, validation, and dissemination of market data to support core products.

Responsibilities
- Provide high level of service by responding to client inquiries within reasonable timeframe
- Verify and confirm with vendor sources for any discrepancies in set up information
- Establish communication networks with business units for receipt of security set up data
- Set up various types of public and private securities (funds, bonds, money markets, etc.)
- Ensure end of day checking procedure for same day requests are completed
- Review/monitor all set up issues to ensure timely follow up and resolution
- Act as team player, participate in cross training activities, and provide coverage during staff absences
- Identify issues and problems and escalate immediately
Requirements
- University degree
- 3+ years financial services experience
- Good knowledge of securities industry, PC and MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to work effectively under pressure
- Team player with strong verbal and written communications skills

Opportunity Overview
- The Data Service Delivery, Securities Master File (SMF) team is accountable for accurate and timely daily collection, validation and dissemination of market data.
- As Data Analyst, you will ensure securities are set up and delivered to applications in a timely and accurate manner.

Pay Range
- Expected pay range: CAD 46,000 CAD 70,000.
- Eligible for discretionary variable compensation.
