About Engage
Engage is rebuilding infrastructure for property transactions in the UAE by addressing fragmented data, manual handoffs, and misaligned incentives.
The product supports property buying, selling, and renting and is embedded in major Dubai brokerages.
Internship overview
This is a real data-integrity project evaluating a new property data API against the current source.
The intern will own a reconciliation deliverable that the business will use to make a decision.
The role includes coaching from product and engineering teams and cross-functional work with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
Location and duration
- The internship is onsite in Dubai.
- The duration is three months.
- The stated start date is 1 September 2026.
Compensation
- The internship is unpaid.
What you will do
- Connect to two property data APIs and pull structured data across all Dubai areas.
- Design and build a matching methodology to reconcile records between the two sources.
- Quantify match rates and categorize discrepancies area by area.
- Produce a reconciliation report and recommendation on whether the new source is ready to rely on.
- Move on to broader market analysis and reporting work after the initial project.
What you will have
- Comfort calling REST APIs with Python requests or Postman and handling pagination, authentication, and rate limits.
- Working Python skills, especially pandas.
- Strong Excel skills for reporting.
- Ability to design an approach independently when the path is not fully specified.
- Attention to detail and genuine interest in the Dubai property market.
- An AI-first mindset and comfort using AI tools for analysis, scripting, and reporting.
- SQL, fuzzy matching or entity resolution, data pipeline or ETL exposure, and familiarity with UAE property portals are pluses.
