Data Analyst (Eastern European)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze audience data to develop targeted list selections and audience segmentation strategies
• Optimize media plans and marketing budgets using performance analytics and ROI analysis
• Perform data validation, merge & purge processes, and maintain data accuracy and integrity
• Create audience targeting recommendations based on demographic, behavioral, and transactional analysis
• Conduct campaign performance analysis and A/B testing to evaluate marketing effectiveness
• Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs, campaign performance, and audience insights
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve campaign performance
• Prepare data for campaigns, including list selection, deduplication, and audience profiling
• Automate recurring reporting and analytical processes where possible
• Document methodologies, processes, and recommendations clearly
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute data-driven marketing strategies
• Present findings and recommendations to management in clear, actionable formats

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, Business Analytics, or related field
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in marketing analytics, audience segmentation, or campaign optimization
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, segmentation techniques, and audience targeting
• Experience with list selection, merge & purge processes, and data validation
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Excel / Python for data analysis
• Knowledge of direct mail marketing, audience segmentation, and CRM analytics
• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms or advertising tools
• Experience in media planning and campaign optimization
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehouse basics
• Familiarity with AI tools for analytics and process automation
