- Monitor compliance with relevant regulations and advise on privacy risks and data subject rights
- Support the reduction of privacy and compliance risks through effective governance practices
- Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls
- Monitor adherence to internal standards and security requirements
- Manage the technical infrastructure and systems that house institutional data
- Implement technical safeguards and maintain system availability to ensure data integrity
- Develop and support the institution's data strategy and conduct privacy reviews
- Define data standards, governance requirements, and reporting classifications
- Document technical procedures, implementation requirements, and governance controls
- Assess and document privacy risks associated with new projects and initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Data Governance, Information Management, or a related field
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred
- Knowledge of data governance, reporting, and data quality management principles preferred
- Experience within the education sector preferred
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
