Cyber Security Manager

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage cybersecurity risks and support appropriate security controls.
• Coordinate with the Security Operations Centre and third-party providers on incident response and remediation.
• Conduct and oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, technical risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Drive compliance with information security policies, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cybersecurity KPIs, risks, and remediation activities for management visibility.
• Partner with Internal Audit and stakeholders on IT risk identification, mitigation, and closure.
• Lead cybersecurity awareness initiatives and provide direction to the Cyber Security team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
• At least 7 years of IT experience, including extensive IT security experience and at least 4 years specifically in IT security.
• Experience across cybersecurity, IT risk, and IT audit.
• Experience in a complex hybrid environment spanning on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, CIS Critical Security Controls, and NESA.
• Experience with VAPT and GRC methodologies.
• Relevant certifications may include CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, CEH, or CRISC.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
