Role Overview
Support RONA customers with product guidance, special orders, and a positive shopping experience.
Contribute to store success by providing service and keeping the store organized.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product and information requirements in the store or by telephone.
- Prepare special orders, collect required specifications, and confirm price and delivery dates.
- Keep the store stocked and merchandised with current product levels and information signage.
- Monitor inventory, perform counts, and highlight inventory concerns.
- Keep current on flyers and promotional events.
- Build product knowledge and improve selling skills through available training.
- Complete other tasks needed to keep the store running smoothly.
Requirements
- Some experience in a customer-focused role is required.
- Effective selling skills and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are needed to assess customer needs and make recommendations.
- The role requires stretching, bending, lifting, and carrying medium to heavy products.
