Role Overview
The Customer Service Associate - Appliances supports customers with product questions, special orders, recommendations, and a positive shopping experience.
The role also contributes to store organization, inventory accuracy, merchandising, and smooth daily operations.
Your Role
- Assist customers with information and product requirements in the store or by telephone.
- Prepare special orders, collect required information and specifications, and confirm pricing and delivery dates with the Special Order Purchaser.
- Maintain stock levels, merchandising, and current product information signage throughout the store.
- Monitor inventory, perform counts, and highlight inventory concerns.
- Stay current on flyers and promotional events.
- Develop product knowledge, understand application and renovation techniques, and improve selling skills through training.
- Complete other related tasks that support store operations.
What We Are Looking For
- Effective selling skills and commitment to excellent customer service are required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are needed to assess customer requirements and make recommendations.
- Some experience in a customer-focused role is required.
- The role requires stretching, bending, lifting, and carrying medium to heavy products.
