Role Overview
The Customer Service Agent handles aircraft catering operations for short-haul, medium-haul, and private flights.
The role is part of the Cargo and Airport Operations job family and is based in Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, load, and dispatch assigned flights with complete catering setups according to airline requirements.
- Coordinate with QACC departments, Bond Stores, and Duty-Free departments when applicable.
- Record food temperatures using a calibrated probe gun in accordance with food safety standards.
- Complete handover and sign-off with cabin crew using appropriate documentation.
- Follow ramp safety procedures and marshal high loaders while working airside.
- Prepare reports for delays, accidents, and incidents and coordinate during emergencies.
Qualifications
- A high school qualification with at least 1 year of job-related experience, or a bachelor's degree or equivalent with no prior job-related experience, is required.
- Knowledge of the Galley Loading Plan, menu specifications, load matrix, and menu cycles is required.
- Familiarity with aircraft types, galley layouts, and loading restrictions is required.
- Flexibility in working hours and the ability to work under pressure are required.
