Custom Software Engineering Lead responsible for technical direction, architecture, and delivery of custom software solutions.
The role guides teams across the full software development lifecycle and aligns robust, scalable solutions with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Own software architecture and technical direction while leading teams through design and delivery.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems and integrations.
- Set and enforce development standards for code quality, consistency, scalability, and performance.
- Implement CI/CD, software verification, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and system upgrade practices.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery, make team decisions, mentor engineers, and evaluate emerging technologies.
Required qualifications
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required.
- The posting also specifies 10 or more years of technology experience in Java, Spring, and cloud technologies.
- At least 5 years of Spring Boot experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
Professional and technical skills
- Required technologies include Spring Boot, Java, and Amazon Web Services.
- Experience is required with CI/CD, automated deployments, automated testing, build servers, and source code configuration management.
- Experience is required with AWS, Jenkins, GitHub, workflow tools such as JIRA or Rally, and Kafka.
- The role requires scalable microservices architecture, backend performance optimization, cloud deployment automation, and complex issue resolution.
Workplace
- The position is based at the Gurugram client office and mandates work from the client location three days per week.
