Project Role
The Custom Software Engineer role develops, codes, and enhances custom software components across systems and applications.
The assignment focuses on Blue Yonder Warehouse Management and describes a highly experienced WMS Technical Consultant or Development Lead in an Assistant Manager role.
Core Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in Blue Yonder Warehouse Management is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong hands-on Blue Yonder or JDA WMS development experience is required.
WMS Delivery
- Lead design, development, and enhancement of Blue Yonder WMS solutions covering MOCA, Page Builder, reports, labels, and integrations.
- Own technical solutioning for inbound, outbound, inventory, and RF workflows.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and performant WMS designs.
Technical Leadership
- Provide hands-on development using Java, C, MOCA, and SQL.
- Review code, enforce coding standards, and lead architecture reviews and design decisions.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct technical reviews, and share knowledge.
