Role Overview
Provide first-line managed services support for client IT infrastructure and systems.
Act as the first point of contact for standard and low-complexity incidents and service requests.
The role is entry level and focuses on maintaining operational systems and meeting service level agreement conditions.
Daily Support Activities
- Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to identify problems and errors before or as they occur.
- Investigate assigned first-line incidents, identify root causes, and provide telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat support.
- Perform patching and configuration changes to maintain smooth operation of client systems.
- Resolve tickets using available knowledge articles and defined standard operating procedures.
Technology Domains
- Work across at least two technology domains, which may include cloud, security, networking, applications, or collaboration.
- Update existing knowledge articles and create new articles where appropriate.
- Identify work optimization opportunities and support project activities as needed.
- Contribute to disaster recovery functions and tests.
