We're building a new advisory vertical at the intersection of crypto and traditional finance — and we need someone who has genuinely operated in both worlds, not just read about them.

There's a specific type of professional that barely exists in the market — someone who can walk into a meeting with a private equity partner in DIFC in the morning, speak their language fluently, and by the evening be actively managing positions across DeFi protocols with real capital at stake.

Two different worlds, one person who is equally at home in both.

Most people in finance know one side.

They either came up through banks and funds and treat crypto as an interesting emerging asset class — or they came up through crypto and find TradFi processes slow, bureaucratic, and hard to navigate.

The person we are looking for went deep in both and kept going.

This role sits at the heart of what Trendy Career is building for the region's most sophisticated financial professionals.

You will advise clients — senior professionals, investors, and institutions navigating the space between traditional markets and digital assets — drawing on your own active trading experience in both domains.

You will help them understand how digital asset strategies compare to and complement what they already know.

And you will serve as the internal voice that keeps everything the company produces about this market honest, grounded, and current — because you are actively in it yourself.

The role is not defined by a single function.

It is defined by the combination of things you can do that most people cannot.

Work directly with clients who are sophisticated in either TradFi or crypto but not both — helping them understand the other side through the lens of someone who has operated in each with real money at stake

Develop and maintain a comparative framework for how traditional asset strategies translate — or don't — into crypto markets: correlation structures, volatility regimes, liquidity dynamics, and risk management approaches across both worlds

Advise on portfolio construction for clients holding a mix of traditional and digital assets — how to think about sizing, hedging, and rebalancing across asset classes that behave very differently

Track and interpret macro developments through both a TradFi and crypto lens — interest rate environments, regulatory shifts, institutional flows — and translate that into practical guidance for clients

Contribute to the company's market intelligence function: where is institutional money actually moving, which DeFi mechanisms are beginning to attract TradFi capital, and what that means for professionals in the region

Engage with the Dubai financial community on both sides of the divide — DIFC, ADGM, crypto-native firms, family offices — as a credible voice who understands both environments from the inside

Help develop advisory content and client-facing materials that speak to the TradFi professional who is serious about understanding crypto properly — not at a surface level

You have traded.

Not as a hobby — actively, with real capital, across both traditional and digital markets.

You know what a losing position feels like in both environments and you have developed your risk management approach through experience rather than theory.

On the TradFi side: meaningful experience in any of the following — equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, commodities, or structured products.

You understand how institutional capital actually moves, how risk is managed at a professional level, and how the people running serious money think about markets.

On the crypto side: active personal participation with real capital — not just awareness of the space.

You have traded on-chain and off-chain, you understand DeFi mechanics from direct experience, and you have navigated at least one significant market cycle with something genuinely at stake.

The combination is the requirement.

Either side alone is not enough.

You can communicate with authority to both audiences — the TradFi professional who is crypto-skeptical and needs to be shown rather than told, and the crypto-native who dismisses traditional finance and needs someone who can demonstrate why that is a mistake.

Fluent professional English.

Arabic is a real advantage in this market.

Strong written communication — you will be producing analysis and client-facing content that will be judged by financially sophisticated readers.

5+ years of total professional experience spanning both domains in a meaningful way.

Dubai-based or relocating from GCC with genuine immediacy.

Good to have

:

CFA, FRM, or equivalent alongside deep crypto experience.

Prior role at a hedge fund, prop trading desk, asset manager, or crypto fund.

Experience with derivatives on both sides — TradFi options/futures and DeFi perpetuals or structured vaults.

Existing network across DIFC, ADGM, or the UAE family office community.

Base salary: AED 560,000 – 840,000 per year (approx.

USD 153,000 – 229,000)

Performance upside tied to client advisory outcomes and vertical revenue

Total annual compensation target: AED 720,000 – 1,080,000+
