Crew Planning and Operations
- Oversee and optimise crew schedules in compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Assign the right competencies to each vessel and coordinate crew rotations.
- Manage absences, leave requests, replacements, working hours, and rest periods.
- Provide out-of-hours operational support when required.
Recruitment, Administration, and Budget
- Anticipate hiring needs and lead recruitment of seagoing personnel.
- Build a talent pipeline through schools, agencies, and partnerships.
- Supervise variable payroll elements and administrative compliance.
- Manage manning agencies and prepare and monitor the crewing budget.
Training, Retention, and Reporting
- Identify training needs and ensure certifications and crew documentation remain valid.
- Maintain the competency matrix and support crew development and internal mobility.
- Implement retention strategies to reduce crew turnover.
- Produce HR reports and monitor headcount, budget, and manning usage.
