- Support Head of Credit Risk in managing credit portfolios across multiple geographies
- Interpret Group Credit Policy and related Standards and Procedures
- Review Credit Application Forms for compliance and risk mitigation
- Monitor compliance with covenants and conditionality on a sample basis
- Monitor developments in covered countries and conduct annual visits
- Assist in delivery of reports on sectors or across jurisdictions
- Identify relationships or sectors with elevated credit risk for close monitoring
- Contribute to risk related projects and record contributions for evaluation
- Ensure appropriate training from internal or external sources
Requirements
- 10 20 years of experience in credit risk management
- Experience with sovereign, corporate, and financial institution transactions
- Knowledge of Group Credit Policy and related standards
- Ability to travel to covered countries on an annual basis

Principal Responsibilities
- Support Head of Credit Risk across multiple geographies as principle or secondary point of contact for sovereign, corporate, and financial institution transactions.
- Provide support in interpretation of Group Credit Policy and related Standards and Procedures.
- Consult on Credit Application Forms regarding adequacy of explanation and risk mitigation.
- Ensure CAF compliance with group policies and indicate level of support (positive, negative, conditional).
- On a sample basis (minimum 10%), ensure spreadsheets compiled correctly, covenants complied with, and conditionality delivered.
- Ensure documentation outstanding on Out of Order report is covered in CAF with reasons to mitigate risk.
- Monitor developments in covered countries; travel annually to inform country exposure review.
- Monitor completeness of annual reviews from a country and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in delivery of reports on sectors within a country or across jurisdictions.
- Identify relationships or sectors that could result in elevated credit risk; report on Accounts Requiring Close Monitoring before downgrade to Risk Rating 8.
Risk Related Project Management
- Provide assistance and support on risk related projects, from single item report amendments to multi million dollar transformational projects.
- Record contribution to projects for evaluation as part of career management process.
Development
- Ensure appropriate training from internal or external sources; attend at least one external course per annum and take regular internal seminars or presentations.
