- Shape the product suite including project and production loans, user acquisition loans, revenue advances, guarantees, and co investment match funds
- Define eligibility criteria, pricing mechanisms, and balance between concessional support and capital preservation
- Prioritize product launches and develop phased implementation approaches
- Benchmark financing terms against market alternatives
- Identify and help establish partnerships with banks, development lenders, and specialist financiers
- Support development and negotiation of financing terms, pricing, and eligibility criteria with partners
- Build appropriate risk controls and recoupment structures into financing instruments
- Support implementation of financing products and monitor uptake and outcomes
Requirements
- 7–9 years of experience in credit, lending, structured finance, private credit, fintech lending, banking, or financial consulting
- Experience in financing product design, credit analysis, or structured lending environments
- Experience engaging with financing partners, banks, and development lenders
- Strong analytical and structuring skills, including instrument design, concession economics, and default and return modelling
- Experience in underwriting, facility monitoring, and credit assessment
- Strong understanding of debt instruments and financing structures
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills

Role Overview
- We are looking for a Credit & Growth Financing Manager to support a key initiative within DCT Abu Dhabi on a 12 month freelance contract.
- This role sits within a high impact program focused on supporting the growth of Abu Dhabi’s gaming ecosystem by developing innovative, non dilutive financing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Help design a non dilutive financing offering that enables growth stage gaming studios to scale without giving up ownership.
- Shape the product suite, including project and production loans, user acquisition loans, revenue or incentive advances, guarantees, and co investment match funds.
- Define eligibility criteria, pricing mechanisms, and the balance between concessional support and capital preservation.
- Prioritize product launches and develop phased implementation approaches.
- Benchmark financing terms against market alternatives to ensure competitiveness while avoiding crowding out private lenders.
- Identify and help establish the partnerships required to deliver financing products.
- Assess deployment models, including development focused lenders, specialist financiers, and hybrid or first loss arrangements.
- Engage banks, development lenders, and specialist financing institutions to design and deliver financing solutions.
- Help define partner mandates, underwriting standards, and portfolio management arrangements.
- Support the development and negotiation of financing terms, pricing, and eligibility criteria with financing partners.
- Build appropriate risk controls and recoupment structures into financing instruments.
- Support the implementation of financing products and monitor uptake and outcomes.
Requirements
- 7–9 years of experience in credit, lending, structured finance, private credit, fintech lending, banking, or financial consulting.
- Experience in financing product design, credit analysis, or structured lending environments.
- Experience engaging with financing partners, banks, and development lenders.
- Direct experience within a gaming financing company is preferred.
- Strong analytical and structuring skills, including instrument design, concession economics, and default and return modelling.
- Experience in underwriting, facility monitoring, and credit assessment.
- Strong understanding of debt instruments and financing structures, including project finance, receivables financing, guarantees, and user acquisition loans.
- Ability to engage confidently with financing partners, banks, and development lenders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to operate in fast paced and evolving environments.
- Experience with user acquisition or revenue based lending, including studio cash flow underwriting, ROAS analysis, payback analysis, and facility monitoring.
- Gaming financing experience, including user acquisition loans, royalty advances, or receivables financing, is preferred.
