Credit Controller - Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Role Overview

Credit Control and Collections

• Maintain customer billing accounts, follow up on collections, allocate payments, and dispatch invoices by required deadlines.
• Manage outstanding sales balances before they become overdue and monitor customer accounts for non-payments and delayed payments.
• Perform credit checks, monitor credit limits, assess payment patterns, and propose actions for indebtedness and irrecoverable debt.

Reconciliation and Cash Management

• Reconcile accounts, process adjustments, investigate customer queries, and maintain accounts receivable files.
• Prepare monthly collection cash forecasts, monitor collection targets, follow receipt and cash procedures, and prepare bank deposits.

Process and Customer Management

• Communicate with customers by phone, email, mail, or in person regarding account and payment matters.
