Credit Controller

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts, receivables, and collections within agreed credit terms.
• Review customer accounts and support credit evaluations.
• Monitor approved payment terms and credit limits.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve payment and credit-related issues.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams.
• Monitor high-risk and overdue accounts.
• Report on collection status and outstanding balances.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly receivables and collections reports.
• Support Sales by reviewing and coordinating orders on credit hold.
• Maintain accurate customer account records.
• Comply with company credit policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field is required.
• Four to five years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or Collections.
• At least five years of credit analysis and risk management experience is required.
• At least five years of UAE experience is required.
• Strong understanding of credit management, receivables, and collection processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize collections, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a structured environment.
• A driver's license is required.
