Country Director – UAE

The Country Director – UAE is a part-time, remote role responsible for leading YAZ’s strategic and operational presence in the United Arab Emirates.

This role oversees business development activities, builds and maintains key client relationships, and identifies new market opportunities across digital services.

The Country Director manages local partnerships, ensures service delivery aligns with client expectations, and coordinates with global teams to adapt offerings to the UAE market.

Day-to-day tasks include monitoring market trends, guiding local marketing and sales initiatives, reporting on performance and growth, and representing YAZ in relevant industry forums and events.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.

• Proven experience in country or regional leadership, with responsibility for strategy, operations, and business development in the UAE or GCC region.
• Strong background in digital services, technology consulting, or related fields, with the ability to translate client needs into effective solutions.
• Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management, relationship building, and partnership development with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, including experience with market analysis and growth planning.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively in a part-time capacity, and collaborate across cultures and time zones.
• Familiarity with UAE business regulations, cultural norms, and industry networks relevant to digital services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Track record of leading teams or initiatives, mentoring team members, and fostering an inclusive, performance-oriented culture.
